Conducting Body: Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC)
Purpose: Eligibility test for appointment as teacher in UP schools (Primary & Upper Primary)

✔ Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be Indian citizens.
  • Minimum age: 18 years (maximum varies; relaxations apply for reserved categories). 
  • Educational Qualification – Paper 1 (Primary Level):
    • Class 12 with ≥50% marks + 2‑year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)
    • OR Class 12 with ≥50% + 4‑year B.El.Ed
    • OR Graduation + 2‑year D.El.Ed / B.Ed (final year appearing eligible)
  • Educational Qualification – Paper 2 (Upper Primary Level):
    • Graduation + 2‑year D.El.Ed / B.Ed
    • OR Class 12 with ≥50% + 4‑year B.El.Ed
    • OR Class 12 with ≥50% + 4‑year BA/BSc.Ed or BA.Ed/BSc.Ed.
