Exam Pattern 2026

The SSC GD Constable exam consists of four sections. Each section has 20 questions of 40 marks. Each correct answer carries 2 marks and there is negative marking for wrong answers.

Important Instructions

• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer.
• Question paper is available in English, Hindi & 13 regional languages.
• Questions are objective type (MCQs) with equal weightage across all sections. 

How to Prepare

Focus on basics of reasoning, general awareness (including current affairs), elementary mathematics up to Class 10 level and English/Hindi language skills. Regular practice with previous year questions and mock tests improves speed and accuracy.
