Age Limit
- No age limit for JEE Main Session 2.
- Candidates must fulfill eligibility criteria based on educational qualification.
Eligibility
- Passed Class 12 (or equivalent) in 2024 / 2025 or appearing in 2026 with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
- No minimum age requirement.
- Minimum qualifying marks for IIT/NIT admission: 75% (65% for SC/ST) or top 20 percentile (if applicable).
Exam Pattern
- Mode: Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Paper‑1 (B.E./B.Tech), Paper‑2 (B.Arch/B.Planning)
- Multiple Choice Questions (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics)
- Negative marking for incorrect answers (usually –1 for wrong)
Selection / Admission Process
- Based on JEE Main Session 2 score & All India Rank.
- Separate merit list for each paper (B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch/B.Planning).
- Admission through Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling for eligible candidates.
