Eligibility

Vacancy Details
Total Vacancies: 28,740 posts across India Postal Circles including BPM, ABPM & GDS roles. State / Circle wise vacancies available in official notification. Examples – UP: 3,169, Maharashtra: 3,553, West Bengal: 2,982, MP: 2,120 etc.
Selection Process
- Selection based on **10th Class Merit List**
- No Written Exam / Interview
- Merit list prepared by indiapostgdsonline.gov.in
Salary / Pay Scale
- Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS): Approx ₹10,000 – ₹24,470 per month
- Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM): Similar Pay + Allowances
- Branch Postmaster (BPM): Approx ₹12,000 – ₹29,380 per month
- Exact salary depends on Circle & Office norms
