Total Exam Cities & Expansion

• NIFTEE 2026 exam will be held in multiple cities across India.
• Originally, NTA planned test centres in 100 cities for NIFTEE 2026.
• Two new exam cities—Vapi (Gujarat) and Daman (Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu)—have been added.
• With these additions, the total number of exam cities is now 102 across the country. 

Selecting & Allotting Exam Cities

• When filling the NIFTEE application form, candidates can choose up to four preferred cities (in order of priority). 
• NTA will try to allot a centre in one of the chosen cities based on preferences and availability.
• However, due to administrative/logistical reasons, the final allotment can be in a different city. 
• If a chosen city has very few candidates, NTA may merge or reassign centres. 

City Intimation Slip & Allotment Info

• The NIFTEE city intimation slip was released on 29 January 2026 on the official NTA NIFTEE 
• This intimation slip shows the city where the exam centre has been allotted (not the exact venue address).
• Candidates should download and save the city slip as it helps with travel planning before the admit card is released. 

How to Check Your Allotted City

• Visit the official NTA NIFTEE portal at exams.nta.nic.in/niftee/. 
• Log in with your application details (Application Number & Date of Birth).
• Download the City Intimation Slip to see which city you’ve been assigned.
• Later, the exact exam centre address and details will be printed on your admit card.

Important Notes

• Exam city allotment is based on preferences, availability, and administrative feasibility. 
• Even if a preferred city is not allotted, the exam will still be held in a nearby or alternate city. 
• Candidates should plan travel only after downloading the final admit card.
• Future updates (like admit card release or shift details) will be available on the official NTA NIFTEE
